School Uniforms donated to HOME

Give Kids Safe Shelter donated $1000 to help pay for uniforms for students living on the HOME Campus. Ten boys and sixteen girls, ages four years to seventeen years, benefited from the donation. The uniforms were printed by Uniform Wizard in Kissimmee, Fla., for students to wear to the following schools:

Denn John Middle
Mill Creek Elementary
Pleasant Hill Elementary
Thacker Elementary
Kissimmee Elementary
Liberty High
Discovery Middle
Chestnut Elementary
Flora Ridge Elementary
Kissimmee Middle
Poinciana High

Helping Others Make the Effort is very thankful to Give Kids Safe Shelter for supplying the much needed uniforms to the students of HOME. The uniforms were a necessity because Osceola School District has moved to a uniform only dress code. Valerie Sewell, Give Kids Safe Shelter Board Chairperson, visited the HOME campus to meet the children in their school uniforms (pictured above with the students and Stephanie Guittar, Program Director for HOME).
