Help is on the way!

I am thrilled to announce that HOME has been chosen as a site for a HUGE Hands on Orlando volunteer project! On September 12th, HOME will be visited by about 600 corporate volunteers. They will be clearing our Phase II area of underbrush and weeds and creating a beautiful park complete with mulch paths, benches, and gardens. They will also install fencing around our pond and behind our property, to ensure the safety of our younger residents. A special indoor team will ready our first building for occupancy by making it spic' n' span, hanging blinds, stocking the kitchen with all of our wonderful donated housewares, and even painting murals in the kids' rooms. We are looking for project leaders that can help manage the volunteers, and we desperately need donations of mulch, trees, plants, and dumpsters.
